🌴 Isle Of Paradise🌴Tan Review

Hey hey, I'm back writing blog posts again. I know its been ages since I last posted but work has been full on. However I'm managing my time better these day and I even had time to bronze myself up!
I like tanning but I don't like the cons of tanning, the orange patchy skin around dry areas that I normally get no matter how much moisturiser I put on, the horrid odour that comes off my skin as I sleep with tan on and waking up in the morning to bed sheets the colour of cheese puffs.
All of these are problems of the past now that I have found this miracle worker! New on the market Isle Of Paradise tanning water. No Odour, No stains, Streak free and it leaves you feeling like a bronzed goddess!

I Started off with the Prep it self tan priming spray, with ingredients such as coconut and avocado its bound to give your skin a good base for tan. All you have to do is spray it all over your body and leave to dry. Then apply whatever tan you chose from Isle of Paradise
I chose the dark tanning water, and I wasn't disappointed. I love the results. Five days on the tan is still going strong. Also may I just add how even it is around my feet normally I find it very hard to apply my tan around my ankles and heels, whatever I do it always seems to grab on to dry areas and gather around my ankles. Not this time, I was so surprised to see the tan was so perfect on my feet I have a feeling it has to do with the primer I put on before hand.

2 hours developing

Overall I would say this is the best tan I have tried to date. It has so many PROS! So if you're looking for a new tan you heard it here, It's amazing. Just make sure to shave and exfoliate 24 hours before to achieve the best results.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post,

Until next time when you're all bronzy and glowing

Eyes On You

So it’s that time of year again, where we can wrap up in front of the fire with some cozy knits and a cuppa to keep us nice and warm away from this Irish winter that we dread so much every year!  How-ever we can’t live like hermits and hibernate for the whole winter so when we go out we have to make some bit of an effort, while staying warm and stylish. I don’t know about you but my winter style so far, I always end up feeling like layers of clothes just throw up on me with out matching what so ever! This year I am dedicated to putting in the extra effort.

This outfit represents  how I would like my style to be this winter, dark with some quirky embellishments, colours and textures. Just because the winter is dark and dull, doesn’t mean our style has to be!

In the coming weeks I hope to give you some tips and display some of my online favourites with you! So stay tuned for some more ranting about the weather and how cold I am! I am Irish after all that’s what we talk about 90% of the time! I will try to keep my blog winter blues free!

"Be Bold"

Be Bold with the new

 Real Techniques "BOLD METALS" collection

The suspense for these makeup brushes all over the world was incredible, even when I went to buy them in the shop the guy behind the counter just laughed and said "whats all the hype for with these brushes" He clearly doesn't understand how us girls think!
The hype is clearly caused by how different these brushes look compared to Real Techniques original collection of brushes. This collection screams BOLD and this is exactly what its name represents. The "BOLD METALS" collection is a complete contrast to the original brushes. I feel they are better designed, the colour and overall look of the brushes is amazing!

When you first see them in their packaging, its hard not to get overwhelmed with how striking the gold, silver and rose gold is!

For me, so far my favourite brush would have to be the 301 flat contour brush. It gives you amazing control to give the perfect sculpted effect. Even for those who are unfamiliar with contouring would have no problem when using this brush.

While I'm loving all the brushes I bought from this collection the 101 triangle foundation brush has yet to win me over!! It may be the foundation I am using with it, but it just didn't give me the effect I had envisioned for such uniquely designed brush. I found the foundation went on streaky and unevenly as the bristle aren't as dense as the other brushes.

My over all first impression of Real Techniques new "BOLD METALS" collection is one of praise.
I have yet to get the remaining brushes, but for now I will continue to use the ones I need and hopefully learn to use them properly in order to benefit fully with them.

If you are looking for new brushes I would definitely recommend you to try these brushes

Such high end design at such an affordable price !

Dressed to the Nines..

Every girl needs a staple pair of black pointed toe heels! and this amazing pair is from the oh so lovely and classy brand Nine West.  I bought these recently for a wedding, however I've always wanted a pair of pointed toe heels. They go we anything, from boyfriend jeans to a floor length maxi skirt. At first I was hesitant in buying these as I thought the pointed toe would be uncomfortable, surprisingly they are the complete opposite. They fit like gloves and I could prance around in them all day! Well... we all know that I might be over exagerating a tad! but I still love the comfort I feel wearing this shoes.

I promise you it is worth getting rid of an old tattered pair of heels in your closet and replace them with a classic heel like these Nine West beauties. You will not regret it!

They can take you anywhere and whatever the outfit put these shoes on and you will always look dressed to the Nines!!

Yours Sincerely

The Playlist To 2015

So to start off the New year, even though it has passed and is like 8 days in, I decided to put together all my favourite songs that I have come to love and obsess over the past year and pack them in to one big blog post.
My music taste is very different, it depends on my mood I suppose. One minute I could be listening to Kanye West and minutes later singing along to Ben Howard.

So here they are.. A few of the songs I deafened people with in 2014

                                                         Dark Blue - Jack Mannequin

Matt Corby - Resolution

Matt Corby - Untitled

astronomyy- nothin on my mind

Suvi - Bleeding for your love

Tiesto - Wasted

Travie McCoy - Rough Water ft Jason Mraz

Hope you enjoyed listening to a few  of my favourite songs, the songs that will never annoy me or get old!

What are some of your favourite songs ?

Welcome

Hola everyone and welcome to my blog. My name is Lisa I am from Ireland, I am nineteen years old and fashion, beauty and photography are my greatest passions in life. I have recently been questioning what I want to do with my life and what type of career in fashion I would like to pursue when I have finished the course I am currently studying "Fashion Design and Retail Studies" , and let me just say it is very stressful.
However the only time I am eternally happy is when I can express myself through my fashion. Fashion allows me to express my individuality and like everyone fashion lets me be me ! simple.
About four years ago I set up a fashion blog and when that didn't work out I set up another one however lack of confidence, equipment and maturity might have got the better of me and I decided to get rid of the blog. In a way I was afraid of other peoples judgement, how they would react to me starting something so different back then, but now a lot of people are beginning to open up to new ideas, and I decided to not give in to fear and set out on this adventure again! Many people have suggested I set up a blog again so I said " why not"
Everyone is more accepting of expressing individuality, And thats exactly what I want to express through this blog. My fashion looks, moments that I find beautiful captured in a photograph and my general thoughts on life!
I believe everyone is unique and if I can help spark the uniqueness in you, if only by posting a photo of an outfit or a photograph of a beautiful sunset then thats good enough for me!

So if you would like to follow me on this journey I would greatly appreciate it!

                                                  LOVE, LIVE & INSPIRE

xx Lisa
